אַהֲבָה

Ahava is one of the most beautiful words in the Hebrew language. Made out of 4 letters, It starts with an Aleph, the first letter of the Alphabet, continues to Hei, the letter representing God, then touches Bet, the second letter of the alphabet before returning to God’s Hei. Gabriel Wolff transfers this phonetic and symbolic flow into an elegant calligraphy artwork. He says: “I wanted to capture this beautiful merging of meaning and sound by using a rounded form and warm colours.  While working on this piece, I kept experiencing overwhelming feelings of love and happiness, as if the piece was radiating it in all directions”
